HI, I’m Stevi

I design digital products that feel considered, from the first strategic decision to the last interaction detail.

My foundation is in Exhibition Architecture, where structure is the experience. I brought that into UX: I don't ask where the button goes until I understand how the whole thing should feel to move through. That question catches the problems that wireframes miss.

For the past five years at DPDK, I've worked across UX, brand strategy, and new business - designing websites, apps, and portals while also shaping the strategic direction of pitches from the ground up. I'm as comfortable setting a brand direction in week one as I am sweating the interaction detail in week ten

Originally from South Africa, I recently spent over a year living and working across Thailand and Malaysia. Navigating different cultures sharpened a critical professional asset: I never assume I know how someone else experiences the world. This mindset makes me a more curious researcher, a more intentional designer, and a better collaborator.

I’m at my best when i own the problem, not just a slice of it.

When I’m completely away from a screen, you’ll find me out photographing wildlife, ink painting, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
